BaCaTeC (Bavarian Californian Technology Center) is the main
sponsor of the Summer School and has provided a limited number of
grants for PhD-students and postdoctoral researchers from Bavaria and
California. Grants will cover accomodation (double room occupancy) and
meals during the summer
school and provide support for travel costs.
The number of participants is limited to 35
to 40 attendees. Basic knowledge of biomolecular NMR is
expected from applicants. Participants from Bavaria and California
will be preferred in case too many attendees register. Remaining spots
will be assigned on a first-come-first serve basis. Applications from
students and postdoctoral fellows have to be accompanied by a letter of
recommendation from their supervisor and a short curriculum vitae
including a brief description of their current work. Participants
approved for the Summer School
will be informed in written form (email). Mail or email (stephan.schwarzinger.aT.uni-bayreuth.de, .aT. = @)

form.

The registration fee may be reduced or waived under certain circumstances (please

Grants - A few Grants are still available
PhD-students and postdoctoral fellows working in an academic or non-profit institution in either Bavaria or California are elegible for grants covering the costs during the Summer School and providing support to travel expenses (grants do not include the registration fee). Simply check the corresponding boxes in the application form.
